Meet Pierrette Kengela - An accomplished individual with over eighteen years of experience in international development and humanitarian work, earning several awards along the way.
Pierrette has worked extensively in various low- and middle-income countries, as well as in conflict and post-conflict settings. Through her work in over forty countries across the globe, she has contributed significantly to the sustainable transformation of health systems, policies, and peacebuilding initiatives.She holds two master’s degrees (Master of Public Health in Tropical Medicine and Master of Science in Health Management), a Post-graduate Diploma (PGDip) in Public Health, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and several certifications.Her career has been marked by her tireless dedication to providing leadership, project management, and technical support to multi-country programmes, coalitions and initiatives funded by bilateral and multilateral organizations, as well as private foundations and governments. Her particular areas of expertise include infectious diseases and HIV/AIDS, sexual reproductive health and rights (SRHR), maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health (MNCAH), child protection in emergencies (CPiE), Gender Equality (GBV, multi-context gender analysis, and mainstreaming), feminist peace and masculinities, and sexual exploitation, abuse, and harassment (SEAH).Driven by her interest and love for advancing social justice and promoting sustainable development, she has founded Joy4All NGO, The Joy4All Academy, J4A Public Health Consulting, Chemin vers l'Excellence - Executive Life Coaching, the Kingdom Impact Networking Group (KING), and various initiatives and networks empowering women and young people in social impact and entrepreneurship.Passionate about empowering vulnerable people and promoting equal opportunities for all, Pierrette is not only a seasoned writer but also a certified life coach and a committed advocate for women's rights and gender equality.
